The Midland Institute of Mining Engineers (MIMinE) celebrated its 160th year in 2017 with a membership of over 170 members in the UK and overseas. Their annual Safety Seminar takes place in April, with the 17th edition of the Safety Seminar, with the theme Safely Managing the Challenge of Change, happening on Friday 12th April 2024 in Sheffield. Dr. Sauer & Partners' Sebastian Kumpfmueller will present our work on the Woodsmith Project MTS Shaft focusing on Prevention through Design.
