With the Crossrail or rather Elizabeth line now officially open, it is with a sense of achievement that the Dr. Sauer & Partners team looks back on the completion of such an incredible project running under central London.

Tunnelling works at the Crossrail Farringdon Station in central London are underway; the majority of the sprayed concrete lining (SCL) tunnels are completed.
Farringdon station is at the heart of the Crossrail project. Upon its completion, the station will become one of Britain’s busiest where passengers will be able to access three major networks – Thameslink, Crossrail and London Underground.
