Following on from the recent visit to the University of Warwick by members of the Dr. Sauer & Partners’ team, Senior Tunnel Engineer, Dr. Ali Nasekhian made the trip back up to Warwick last week.
Ali delivered an informative lecture on FEM modelling for tunnels to the MSc students enrolled on the Tunnelling and Underground Space course. The lecture included a practical element with an exercise for the students to work on during the session.
As a company, Dr. Sauer & Partners is pleased to be able to support and contribute to the course which initially was set up in part by the the British Tunnelling Society. Thanks go to Ali for his involvement in the initiative.
