Last week, Dr. Sauer & Partners attended the Midland Institute of Mining Engineers 18th Annual Safety Seminar in Sheffield. Dr. Sauer & Partners' Justyna Wróblicka rounded off the day's presentations with a talk about ‘Enhancing Mining Safely: Challenges and Solutions in the Design & Construction of the Woodsmith Project’s MTS Station Chamber & Roadways’, a paper co-authored by Sebastian Kumpfmueller.
The theme this year, 'Challenges and Solutions for Mining Safely; provided a forum for insightful discussions and innovative solutions.The day was filled with many insightful presentations about mine safety and innovations in mining technology for underground surveys and shaft sinking and plenty of networking with contacts new and old from across the industry.
