The British Tunnelling Society Young Members (BTSYM) hosted their second conference on 27th March 2015 in London. The event followed on from the hugely successful conference in 2012 and was attended by over 90 delegates. Dr. Sauer & Partners was represented by Alexandra Onisie-Moldovan and Petr Salak. In total 11 presentations covering all aspects of a tunnelling projects' lifecycle, from conception to construction were presented. The talks also focused on more specialised topics such as constructing underground metro railways, as well as current research in composite tunnel linings. We are proud that we could help with the cost of the conference and will continue to support the BTSYM in the future.
