Dr. Sauer & Partners Supports WSP for Euston HS2 Design

Thursday, February 9th, 2017

WSP Parsons Brinkerhoff has recently been named as having won the remaining High Speed 2 package of work for further design development at Euston Station. Dr. Sauer & Partners is delighted to announce that it will be supporting the WSP team, and looks forward to working on this hugely important project. The objectives of this design phase are to develop the Station Masterplan, the functional specification for both the station requirements and the design as well as the progression of design elements on the critical path.

The tender for the work was evaluated with a 70% technical weighting and 30% for price, and the contracts form the last of the concept design work for Euston. The overall plan for the station is to incorporate and integrate Network Rail, London Underground (LU), HS2 and proposed Crossrail 2 stations with consideration also being given to any over site development. The project includes new underground links and upgrades to the existing LU station pedestrian and platform tunnels for the Northern and Victoria lines.

Dr. Sauer & Partners is excited to be involved in yet another significant project for London, and following on from its recent involvement in Crossrail’s Farringdon station and other LU station upgrade projects, is well placed to deliver the necessary support and input.
