Dr Sauer & Partners, as an integral part of the Dragados and London Underground Team, have won the UK Tunnelling Team of the Year Award at the NCE Tunnelling Awards 2017! They were also awarded a Highly Commended for the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Initiative of the Year.
The awards are hugely popular and are renowned for showcasing the very best in tunnelling expertise to both the local and global tunnelling community.
Bank Station Capacity Upgrade is a major project for Dr. Sauer & Partners, which allowed them from the beginning (tender in 2012) to work in an efficient, collaborative environment, where multiple disciplines were brought together to produce their best.
Over the years it has evolved into a major project that has seen Dr. Sauer & Partners staff fully integrated in the design, construction (Since 2017) and management of the London Underground Flagship Project.
The level of teamwork, collaboration and innovation is exemplar and obvious to anyone involved and it has finally received the vital recognition it deserves by winning the UK Tunnelling Team of the Year award.
