On Thursday, 3rd December 2015, The British Tunnelling Society announces the first UK National Tunnelling Day in recognition of all national tunnelling projects in the UK and by way of promoting the industry. 

Works are underway at Bond Street Station, one of the most complex London Underground station upgrade projects to date.

The Northern line and DLR design drawing packages have now been submitted. The assessment of the existing structures has been finished.

The Ottawa light rail project has a 12.5km total length. This includes a 2.5km long tunnelled section through the city's downtown area with three underground stations - Lyon, Parliament and Rideau.
