Dr. Sauer & Partners is delighted to congratulate Bethan Haig on her win at last week's European Women in Construction and Engineering Awards (WICE). Bethan won the Best Woman in Tunnelling & Underground Construction Award 2017.

On Monday night, Dr Sauer & Partners hosted a river cruise dinner as part of the European Tunnel Seminar (ETS #11) managed and coordinated by David R. Klug & Associates.

Since 21st March 2016, Dr. Sauer & Partners has been supporting a Masters Thesis in coordination with the Technical University of Graz.

Exploiting the residual flexural strength of the steel fibre reinforced (SFR) sprayed concrete is key to designing thinner, efficient, easier to build and safe tunnel linings without further reinforcement requirements.

The ITA-AITES Czech Tunnelling Association is preparing for its 13th International Conference entitled “Underground Construction Prague 2016”, taking place in Prague, from 23rd to 25th May 2016. 

The British Tunnelling Society Annual Dinner took place on Friday 6th May, and once again, Dr. Sauer & Partners hosted a table of clients and employees. 

It’s business as usual in the office after the Dr. Sauer & Partners team has returned from a successful WTC2016.

Since 21st March 2016, Dr. Sauer & Partners has been supporting a Masters Thesis in coordination with the Technical University of Graz.

Since our update in October last year, the works for the Confederation line in Ottawa have moved on significantly. The project is on schedule for 2018 and apparently, unless you are living directly on top of it, the activity below ground could go unnoticed.

The World Tunnel Congress for 2016 will take place in San Francisco later this month, and Dr. Sauer & Partners will be present at the event.
