Dr. Sauer & Partners Corporation was awarded the design of the ‘Goose Creek’ crossing tunnel for Luck Stone Corporation at its plant in Leesburg, Virginia. Read on for an update on the project.
The AGM for the BTS Young Members took place on Thursday, 1st November and Dr. Sauer & Partners is extremely proud to have three of the team appointed to the new committee.
Dr. Sauer & Partner’s MD in the UK, Brian Lyons, recently gave a presentation titled '10 Years of SCL' to the LBA/BASF Sprayed Concrete Workshop held at the Hagerbach detailing his view of UK SCL Tunnelling achievements over the last decade.
Last month, a paper written by Chara Kalogeraki and Dr. Angelos Gakis of Dr. Sauer & Partners and Dr. Panagiotis Spyridis from the Technical University of Dortmund (previously Dr. Sauer & Partners) was presented during the 16th International Probabilistic Workshop (IPW) in Vienna.
Dr. Sauer & Partners will be at the BTS Conference and Exhibition 2018 next week, with both a booth and presentation during the conference proceedings.
The 44th ITA-AITES General Assembly and Wold Tunnel Congress (WTC) took place on April 21 – 26, 2018 in Dubai, UAE. The congress’ main theme this year was “How can underground spaces enable cities to develop sustainably and become resilient?”.
