Friday 11th May 2018 saw the return of the Tunnelling World's social event of the year, The British Tunnelling Society's Annual Dinner.

The 44th ITA-AITES General Assembly and Wold Tunnel Congress (WTC) took place on April 21 – 26, 2018 in Dubai, UAE. The congress’ main theme this year was “How can underground spaces enable cities to develop sustainably and become resilient?”. 

A new exhibition at The London Transport Museum is giving credit to the London Clay and its outstanding properties for tunnelling.
